When sweet Jade and her family arrived at the studio everything started out just as my normal typical sessions always do. Jade was a dream baby to work with and we were just sailing right along. In the middle of the session, Jade’s mom, Michelle, came and handed me a tiny tiara and explained that everyone calls sweet Jade “Baby America”…and I couldn’t believe just WHY when Michelle told me a bit of their story! Jade’s beautiful mom, Michelle, was Mrs. America 2015! You can see a video of her crowning moment here. Shortly after winning the title, Michelle found out she was expecting baby Jade and ended up giving up her crown mid-reign. I never did get the story just why, if it was simply because she didn’t feel as if she could fulfill her duties as Mrs. America or if it was something to do with the rules of the pageant. Needless to say, Jade is the most “famous” baby I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing and it was just an absolute honor. Congratulations, E family. Your newest addition is just as beautiful as big sister and your sweet family. I hope to see you all again sometime in the future and thank you for choosing April Stout Photography! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We sure did at my house, however, my oldest was sick with a nasty stomach virus for a couple of days. YUCK! We spent a lot of time just snuggling, watching t.v., and hanging out at the house. We did manage to still enjoy Christmas morning together as she was feeling quite a bit better then, thank goodness!

Not too long ago, sweet Luke was in for his newborn photography session and it was such an enjoyable session! Luke weighed just over 9 pounds at birth and was so fun to snuggle! I first met the B family during their maternity session. You can view it here if you missed it. 🙂

Big brother, Parker, has the most beautiful, curly blonde hair and big blue eyes like his momma! He is such a sweetheart. It was so nice to work with you guys and meet you, B family. Enjoy a look into Luke’s session. I look forward to seeing you all again soon!
